Deckromancy markup

Learn to use markup in Deckromancy

Markup allows for a high level of control in how you style your textboxes. Deckromancy markup is similar to the typical forum formatting commonly used around the web. If you have used internet forums, this format should be very familiar and straightforward to you.

Advanced Markup

These options are used for advanced styling and can be used by artists, enthusiasts, and designers to create custom SKINs, but not needed to simply use the app.

Styling Effects

These tags (except blur) have the optional settings: hollow, where, alpha, and hardness. The hollow setting will make the background show through the text and only show the effect around where the text would be when set to hollow=yes. The where setting will make the effect go inward into the text instead of outward when set to where=in. The alpha is a number from 0 to 100 that sets the transparency level of the effect, with 0 being completely transparent and 100 being completely opaque. The hardness is a number from 0 to 100 that sets how softly(gradated) or rigidly(solid) the effect will be drawn. The color settings can be HTML-style hex color codes or some words like white or gold.
